Are you open on Sundays?
Kristall Galerie is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Can I buy on-line?
Our on-line shop will be open shortly. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us with your requirements.

Can I claim any taxes paid during my visit?
Value Added Tax (VAT) is charged on all items bought from Kristall Galerie. Foreign tourists to South Africa can have their VAT refunded provided that the value of the items purchased exceeds N$ 250-00. VAT is refunded at the point of departure provided receipts are produced.

How can I pay?
We accept payment by cash or credit card.

How far is Swakopmund from Windhoek?
Swakopmund is about 280 km (175 miles) west of Windhoek.

Kristall Galerie offers something for everyone and is a "must see" when visiting Namibia. Apart from housing the largest crystal cluster on display in the world, Kristall Galerie also offers the following:

Gallery Displays - a spectacular collection of 'earth keepers', minerals and gems, including a wide range of Quartz Crystals, a rainbow array of Tourmalines and many other impressive exhibits.
Crystal Cave - walk through this magic tunnel, a replica of the original Otjua Tourmaline Mine with its magnificent collection of crystals.
Scratch Pit - an assortment of tumbled semi-precious stones where young and old can search for treasures.
Craft Area - view the fashioning and finishing of various gift items using gemstones.

Kristall Galerie is open Monday to Saturday, from 09h00 - 17h00.
